Frequently Asked Questions

 Licenced and insured

  • Do you provide an obligation free quote?

Yes. All quotes are obligation free. However, a call out fee will be charged for on site quotes. If you proceed with our service, this fee will be waived.

  • Are my animals safe?

Yes. There is no need to worry about your animals. We only suggest that they be removed from the area being sprayed and to empty and remove their water and food bowls until after the treatment is complete.

  • Will the treatment affect me?

No, there is no reason to worry. The products used to treat your property are used in restaurants, homes and supermarkets. We are happy to supply you with more information at your request.

  • Is it safe to stay at the property while the treatment is carried out?

Yes, it is completely safe. However, we do suggest that you vacate the premises as airborne control agents may be used to flush pests out from their harbourage areas. It is suggested that you vacate the premises for a minimum of 4 hours to allow the control agents to settle and dry.

  • I am pregnant, should I be concerned?

No, the control agents we use are very safe. There have been no reports of birth defects or loss of child as a result of the control agents. However, pregnant women should vacate the property for a minimum of 6 hours, allowing sufficient time for the treatment agents to settle and dry both inside and out.

  • What should I do to prepare my property for treatment?

All food items should be stored away in the pantry or refrigerator, all pets should be removed from inside the property, children’s toys should be put away or stored in a container, kitchen cupboards only need to be emptied if you are experiencing pest problems in them and require them to be treated.

  • How can I get rid of termites in my house?

Unfortunately, termites are not a do it yourself problem. Call us immediately! Our professional technicians will identify the type of termite and assess the best plan of action for your termite problem.

  • I have hard wood throughout my house, am I safe from termites?

No. While termites prefer soft, weathered or decaying timbers, they will eat hardwood.

  • How often should I have termite inspections done?

Due to the ideal climate and habitat conditions for termites in the Canberra region, it is highly recommended that termite inspections are carried out by our highly trained technicians at least once a year or earlier if you suspect termite presence.
